There is reassuring news for racegoers, that it is 'All Systems Go' for the 2024 season at the United Downs Raceway, St Day.

The 2023 season concluded with Banger Bonanza Cornwall on 30 December.  Since then, there has been continued progress with representatives of Cornwall Council on a longer lease, and that topic is advancing through the appropriate channels.  In the meantime, the necessary arrangements with the relevant authorities, and with the governing bodies of short oval racing, have been finalised, to ensure the 2024 season will proceed as hoped for.

Autospeed are progressing well with scheduling an exciting season of Stock Car & Banger racing at the Raceway, which first staged Stock Car racing over 50 years ago in 1969, whilst many of the other users of the site - including the Land Rover clubs, the Motorcycle clubs and a wide selection of community based organisations - are also assembling their own dates for 2024.
