Seb Burns

At the end of the Bank Holiday Monday meeting at Smeatharpe, the Caravan Chaos race ended with a most unfortunate incident involving 715 Seb Burns.  Having won the event, Seb gallantly took up the option to trash the remaining caravans, much to the delight of the large Bank Holiday crowd.  Regrettably, when Seb then attacked the caravan chassis that was attached to the car of 912 Simon Rees, he suffered a severe leg injury.  This resulted in the emergency services being called, whilst Team Autospeed carried out an extraction from the car.  Eventually, Seb was flown by air ambulance to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, where he underwent an operation on his injured leg.  Whilst this was serious, Seb’s injuries are not as bad as initially feared, and Autospeed wish him the very best for a full and speedy recovery.
