2 Litre National Bangers Fixtures

The 2024 season with Autospeed for 2 Litre National Bangers has begun with two terrific race meetings.

The opening date was the Spring Open Championship at Smeatharpe on 3 March - click here to read the report from that day.

Two weeks later, that was followed by the action-packed 17 March meeting at St Day - click here to read the report from that day.

The next meetings for 2 Litre National Bangers are as noted below.

Sunday 5 May at St Day.  There was originally a flurry of enthusiastic discussion to stage a memorial event this day for the late Brian Paramore.  On reflection, the relevant parties involved have opted to not rush things, and plan for such a meeting at a more orderly pace.  There will be a Brian Paramore Memorial fixture, but the date is to be confirmed, possibly later this season, or potentially held over until 2025.  To be clear, Sunday 5 May WILL still feature 2 Litre National Bangers as part of the supporting programme to the eagerly awaited English Championship for Saloon Stock Cars.

Monday 17 June at Smeatharpe.  This is the season's lone midweek evening fixture for 2 Litre National Bangers, and is part of a meeting that is headlined by the World Championship qualifying round for BriSCA F2 Stock Cars.

Sunday 28 July at St Day.  A huge car count is expected at this meeting for The Halfpint Trophy, in memory of the late Mike Hiscock.  This meeting also features the European Championship for Stock Rods.
