The annual Open Track Day at the United Downs Raceway offers drivers the opportunity to ensure their cars are in raceworthy condition ahead of the new season.
Open Track Day
With the start of the new season edging ever closer, there is enthusiastic eagerness amongst drivers to know that their winter preparations have gone well, and hence the Open Track Day is popular for giving the opportunity to get some laps completed.
As part of the cycle of infant drivers progressing to a junior class, and in turn, junior drivers reaching the upper age limit, some racers will be branching out into new formulas.
The day is also likely to include ORCi Junior Tests of Competence for new youngsters taking to the circuit.
Buddleia Removal
Volunteers from the United Downs Raceway and the United Downs Environmental Group will work together on a project aimed at removing invasive buddleia from the rear of the big bank.
