The opening segment of the World Championship weekend will see the Overseas Time Trials be staged, and the Consolation Semi Final contested.
The Overseas Time Trials will feature six drivers from mainland Europe and four drivers from Northern Ireland, each vying for the chance to start the World Final from inside row three.
The Last Chance Qualifier will offer drivers who failed to progress through the World Semi Finals at Aldershot on 8 September, the chance to secure one of the last six remaining spots on the World Final grid.  Of the 36 eligible drivers, 34 of them have confirmed their planned attendance - click here for more information.
The feature prize of the evening for the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars will be the O'er The Border Trophy, as won in 2023 by 184 Aaron Vaight.  The silver cup was first raced for, at Smeatharpe, in 1985.

The junior racers (11 to 16 year olds) will make their first Smeatharpe appearance since enjoying a guest spot at the Spedeworth Motorsports presented Banger World Series Finale in August.

To celebrate his British Championship success at Crimond in August, local racer 475 Mason Sealy will be afforded a lap of honour as he makes his first home track appearance since claiming the coveted black and white chequered roof.

First raced for in 2001, the Reg Thomas Shield has been a long-standing award for Ministox with Autospeed.  Last year's winner was Alfie Tomkins, but as he remains sidelined from racing, and all other previous winners are now too old for the junior formula, a new name will be added to the Roll of Honour.

Scottish interest in the event will see 88 Kyle Rogerson and 644 Owen Marshall head south of the border.
