With the new national Stock Car racing season beginning on the first day of March, the action is set to burst into life in Cornwall one week later with a four-formula event. The Saloon Stock Cars will race in the south west for the first time in 2025, as will the Stock Rods, as they set out on the first steps of a path that will lead to gold in September when the World Championship is held at the United Downs Raceway. Buoyed by a spectacular display in December, the Back 2 Basics Bangers are due back in action, with the infant racers in the BriSCA Micro F2s completing the line-up.
Racegoers are reminded of the RECYCLE plans for clean milk bottle tops - bring on raceday and deposit at the Trackshop.

The Road To Gold starts HERE!
The World Championship for Stock Rods will be contested at the United Downs Raceway, St Day in late September.
A new season for the Stock Rods will see drivers racing on Hifly tyres, the first change from Yokohama tyres in more than two decades, but a change that was enforced when Yokohama ceased production of the tyre which Stock Rods have used for so many years. How drivers adapt to the new style of rubber will add further interest to proceedings.
Former BriSCA F2 Stock Car racer 835 Matt Westaway has made the switch to Stock Rods, and will race in the class for the first time.
English Champion 914 Callum Faulconbridge and former British and European Champion are each set to feature.
Following a lively debut appearance in the autumn of 2024, 854 Jack Sear is about to embark on his first full season in the Stock Rods, following in the tyre tracks of his father Mark Sear and elder sister Hannah Sear, each of whom are former Stock Rod racers.
Back 2 Basics Bangers
Plenty of fun and frolics will be expected from the Back 2 Basics who were in sensational form when they featured at Banger Bonanza Cornwall in December.
249 Brandon Curtis is planning his first appearance.
BriSCA Micro F2s
The infant racers (7 to 11 year olds) will make their second appearance of the new season.
