Smeatharpe Stadium - between Honiton and Taunton EX14 4SP

Wednesday 19 February 17:00

The annual Press & Open Track Day at Smeatharpe Stadium gives drivers the opportunity to put their cars through their paces, ahead of the start of the new national Stock Car racing season, which will roar into life in early March.  The original event was planned for Sunday 16 February, but amber weather warnings forced the postponement of that event.  Thus, it has been rescheduled to Wednesday 19 February.  Drivers from most formulas are welcome to make the most of the day, with a fee of £25 for all full licence holders.  Spectators are also welcome, with a token admission cost of £1 each for everyone who attends.  There will be no charge to access the seating area.  Hot and cold refreshments available.

1/ Ninja Karts - please do not ask to bring Ninja Karts - having previously had a trial run with this type of car, we do not feel these to be suitable for our circuit.
2/ Autospeed run BriSCA F2 Stock Cars - please do not ask to bring independent 'pretend' F2s.

Drivers are encouraged to arrive in the period 4.15pm to 4.45pm.
First session on track will be from 5.00pm onwards.
The final track session will end at 9.00pm.
