Saloon Stock Cars

Cornish Championship
Sponsored by South West Sweepers
The Saloon Stock Cars will make their penultimate appearance at St Day for this year.
The fixture is strategically placed to link with racing the next day at Smeatharpe, thereby affording long distance drivers the opportunity for two race meetings from one long trek to the westcountry.
When last at St Day, 27 Kieren Bradford claimed the English Championship.  Bradford is also the leader of the St Day Track Championship.
620 Aaryn Triggs is set to offer some Scottish representation at the meeting by making the long trek south, whilst fellow Scot 529 Jason Secker will make his track debut.
Further interest from long distance travellers is encouraging, with 214 Tom Yould from East Anglia due to be present, along with teenager 399 Cole Atkins who won the Western Championship at St Day on Easter Sunday.
84 Carl Boswell from the Cotswolds and former European Champion 56 George Boult Jnr are two more of the drivers aiming to make the long joureny to the far south west.
From much closer to home, 447 Adam Hicks will spearhead the Cornish challenge for honours, whilst 902 Junior Buster will be in action, twelve months on from when he scored his maiden Saloon Stock Car victory.

Ministox

Cornish Championship
Sponsored by S P Services
The youngsters will make their penultimate St Day appearance of the year.
Harrison Bryant swept to the Cornish Championship last season, but having hit the upper age limit, he will be unable to defend the title.
654 Harley Soper was the top points scorer when the Ministox were last at St Day on 22 July.
South coast based youngster 569 Adam Langridge aims to make his first visit to St Day.

Raceday Programme

In the Five Years Ago section of the Raceday Programme, 25 August 2013 will be the fixture in question, which included a very rare opportunity for the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars to race at Blockbuster meeting.  676 Neil Hooper scored a final win, but can you recall which driver travelled overnight from Scotland to make his track debut?
