Cornish Championship
Sponsored by South West Sweepers
The Saloon Stock Cars will make their final appearance at St Day for this year.
The fixture is strategically placed to link with racing the next day at Smeatharpe, thereby affording long distance drivers the opportunity for two race meetings from one long trek to the westcountry.
Teenager 980 Charlie Lobb leads the St Day Track Championship.  With a 20-point advantage, the former Ministox star is likely to stay sufficiently clear of stalwart racer 199 Phil Powell at the top of the chart to clinch the title.
Amongst a sprinkling of drivers from East Anglia who are set to journey to the westcountry will be 800 Scott Greenslade and 161 Billy Smith.

Summer Holidays Fancy Dress Parade

The youngsters will make their penultimate St Day appearance of the year.
984 Fin Carter sped to a hat-trick of wins when the Ministox were last at St Day on 7 July.
Having completed many laps of the United Downs Raceway whilst in her BriSCA Micro F2 Stock Cars, 617 Christina Sillifant has now progressed into the junior class, and will thus race in the Ministox at St Day for the first time.

Raceday Programme

In the Five Years Ago section of the Raceday Programme, 24 August 2014 will be the fixture in question, which included a rare opportunity for the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars to race at Blockbuster meeting for unlimited cc National Bangers.  Whilst 190 Steve Bailey took an untroubled win in Blockbuster, can you recall the pre-meeting activity which resulted in such a delay that the Grand Parade had to be rescheduled for later in the programme?

Admission Prices: General Admission £15; Concession (5-15 year old) £5; Concession (over 65) £10; Family (2 General + up to 4 Children) £38
