On This Day - 6th July

On this day in 1983, there was local success in the BriSCA F2s at Newton Abbot.  Having showed a lot of promise in recent weeks, 573 Alan Madams not only scored a first time win with victory in his heat, he followed it up with an emphatic success in the final to clinch a fine double.
