On This Day - 5th July

On this day in 2009, the World Championship qualifying round at St Day attracted a record car count of BriSCA F2s, as 64 drivers contested the meeting.  Quite simply, there were cars everywhere, and that continued once the racing began, for with packed grids, action was near enough guaranteed.  For the record, 886 Chris Bradbury won the feature final.
