On This Day - 27th May

On this day in 2007, some unseasonal weather on Spring Bank Holiday Sunday did its best to dampen the spirits of those present at Smeatharpe.  Nonetheless, plenty of folk enjoyed the day, and none more so than 964 Kenny Peters who won the Saloon Stock Car final, for what was his first ever victory in the formula.
