On This Day - 21st July

On this day in 1999, there was a final win in the Saloon Stock Cars at Retallack Park, St Columb for 224 Mark Calvert.  The westcountry star had many of his best days at the Cornish circuit, and the points gathered at this meeting proved to be the foundation for him to land that year’s Track Championship by the end of the season.
