World Champions Ahoy!

Smeatharpe Stadium will be the place to be on Sunday 6 September, if you want to catch some World Champions in race action.

239 Steve Carter will defend the National Bangers Championship of the World.  Indeed, Carter is looking to match the record of Shane Brown, who won the title three years in succession.  82 Tom Foster, winner of the 2 Litre Banger World Final, will also be on the grid.

In the Saloon Stock Cars, 6 Simon Welton from Norwich is set to make his first appearance in the westcountry, since winning the World Championship at Mildenhall on 29 August.

To complete the set, Scotsman 1 George MacMillan Jnr aims to race at Smeatharpe, in his final appearance before looking to defend the BriSCA F2 World Championship at Hednesford on Saturday 12 September.
