During the 2014 season, Autospeed made a conscious decision to significantly reduce the number of meetings for National Bangers.
Accordingly, the next date at Smeatharpe for 2 Litre National Bangers, will be on Sunday 20 July.

Whilst this meeting is a World Championship qualifying round, that does not preclude non-Autospeed drivers from attending.  Indeed, with some venues in their summer break, the meeting does offer an excellent opportunity for drivers who are only occasional visitors to Smeatharpe, to consider making the trip.

To boost the profile of the meeting, the event will be titled as Westcountry Wreckfest 1, and will also feature some bonus awards:
A ‘Thank You’ memento to all drivers who take part
6 x Best Presented Awards of £25 plus trophy
Entertainer Award in each of the day’s races
2 x Top Trier Awards of £50 plus trophy
£100 to the winner of the DD, with £25 to the runner-up
