Turner Ward Fund Raising

As a result of a bucket collection at Smeatharpe on 14 October, and donations via a Go Fund Me page, over £1500 has been raised for the Turner Ward at Torbay Hospital.

The fund raising initiative centres around 272 Rob Brokenshire, who was cared for on the Turner Ward, the acute care ward for haematology and oncology.  Ten years on from when Rob and several of his mates raced as the 'Candy Floss' team, Rob was racing again in the Back 2 Basics Bangers at Smeatharpe on 14 October.
