The race format and timings for Bangers at Smeatharpe on Monday 29 August, is as follows:

12.00 noon
By midday, all Bangers should have arrived at Smeatharpe, and signed in at the Pit Office.
Failure to meet this timing deadline could see a driver excluded from their qualifying heat.

12.30pm
Fresh, unraced Bangers will be afforded 5 trial laps.
Heat divisions will be detailed on the Notice Board.

12.45pm
Grand Parade for all Bangers.  There are commemorative mugs to be presented to all Bangers, so it is imperative that drivers take part in the Grand Parade.  Drivers must not drive themselves.  Have a designated driver, and be driven on the Grand Parade.

Race Format For Bangers
Heat 1 - Devon Championship - priority will be given to drivers who have attended the most number of meetings this season - click here for the Bangers Points chart, which will also give details of attendance.  Drivers who have raced 3 or 4 meetings are assured of a place in the Devon Championship.  Drivers who have raced 2 meetings will most probably be eligible for the Devon Championship, too.
