Crasharama Appearance Bonuses

To enhance and boost the exalted position of Crahsarama as one of the major events of the season in the westcountry for National Bangers, the prize fund has been significantly increased this year, way beyond the £2,000 which has been the standard for many seasons.

A proportion of the overall prize fund will be distributed as Appearance Bonuses.  To qualify for an Appearance Bonus, a driver must book in, turn up and race.
The Appearance Bonuses will be tailored according to distance travelled.
Drivers travelling up to 75 miles, will each receive £25.
Drivers travelling between 75 and 150 miles, will each receive £50.
Drivers travelling in excess of 150 miles, will each receive £100.

Once the Appearance Bonuses have been deducted from the revised prize fund, the remaining money will be paid on Results, Best Presented Awards, Unusual Car Awards, the traditional Crasharama Longest Car Award and an assortment of other additional prize categories.

With early interest from The Roughnecks in south Wales, The Vigilantes from Swindon, and the Wild Boyz from the north of England, Crasharama in 2014 looks like being the best attended for several years.

Crasharama takes place at Smeatharpe on Spring Bank Holiday Monday 26 May, and will feature sponsorship from A Bailey & Sons Groundworks.
